Fender Stratocaster - White with Floyd Rose Tremolo

Well here it is; it’s my “almost” first guitar. Technically my first guitar was a pre-CBS blonde Fender Tele which I bought when I was 14 years old to go with my pre-CBS black-faced Fender Super Reverb amp. But instead of sounding like Jimi Hendrix, I sounded like Hank Williams…great today, but not a good thing in 1970. So two years later I traded in my Tele for this guitar, a 1969 white Fender Stratocaster, which has been with me from junior high school to college to club gigs and the studio as I now attain the tender age of 50 and up. Now many of you will say that this doesn’t look like an original ’69 Strat. Well of course…how could it? I’ve removed any hint of vintage value by repainting the body, changing the tuners, replacing the neck, installing a Floyd Rose Tremolo and Schecter Guitar Assembly which has been further modified with two Seymour Duncan single coil pickups and a DiMarzio humbucker. What Strat? Well, to be me it will always be my “main” guitar oozing with stories, memories and sentimental value.
